Biography
Glenn "Will" Willoughby is a Richmond native and has been performing residential appraisals since 1996 for Old Dominion Appraisal Company. Due to changes in the appraisal industry, I have now formed my own appraisal company, Will Appraisals, LLC. I have completed over 6,000 single family, condo and multi-family appraisal for a variety of lenders, brokers, banks and private entities. Few appraisers have the overall knowledge of the Richmond and Tri-cities area and the inherent home values that I have gained over the years. I take pride in providing a comprehensive report with accurate maps, a complex dwelling sketch, plat and photo exhibits. I have never had a complaint registered against me in the state of Virginia or with any local agency. I hold business and commercial real estate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from the University of Richmond, and recently taught an introductory business class at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
The Company
It was my great pleasure to have worked at Old Dominion Appraisal Company for the past 14 years. Hunter Rhodes (a lifelong friend) gave me the opportunity to learn the appraisal business in a relaxed atmosphere, and at its peak, ODA employed eleven full-time appraisers. We enjoyed an excellent reputation in the real estate industry - many of our original clients are still with us. Unfortunately, changes in the industry brought on by the real estate and economic downturns made it more practical for appraisers to be "solo acts", so I decided to open Will Appraisals, LLC.
